RJ Mitte

Louisiana native RJ Mitte moved with his family to Los Angeles while in his teens. A stint working as an extra in television and film piqued his interest in acting, and Mitte was cast as Walter White Jr. in the acclaimed television series "Breaking Bad"; like his character on the show, Mitte has cerebral palsy, although his own form is considerably milder and does not require the crutches that Walter Jr. uses. Living and working in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Mitte became interested in the case of Tara Calico, a teenager from nearby Belen who disappeared in 1988. Mitte was the executive producer of a documentary about the mystery, "Vanished: The Tara Calico Story."
