Géraldine remains blackmailable and has to watch powerlessly as Etienne takes away her life’s work, her beach bar. Camille’s attempted suicide also failed. Plagued by doubt, Vincent searches through Camille’s jewelry for her pendant of the same kind. But it has disappeared and he can hardly ask Camille about it... Soon he begins to notice discrepancies, so he asks Simon’s friends to recount the evening of the accident once more - and their version differs greatly to what the file says. This allows for the conclusion that Simon was running away from something or someone...
