After having practiced in France, Selma, 35 years old, opens her psychoanalysis practice in a working-class suburb of Tunis. In the aftermath of the Revolution, the demand for psychoanalysis in this schizophrenic country is high. But between those who take Freud and his beard for a Muslim brother and those who confuse paid sessions with paid services, the beginnings of the practice are turbulent... While Selma finally starts to find her bearings, she discovers that she lacks an indispensable authorization to continue practicing...
