Clodagh
Mrs Kelly is a priest's housekeeper. Devout, parsimonious and rigorously honest, she takes care of her priest and church with a deep pride and, on her morning off, takes the local girls to Irish dance class. It is a life which yields few surprises, until Clodagh comes to class and, in Clodagh’s dancing, Mrs Kelly witnesses ‘God’s hand’. However, taking on Clodagh would mean breaking the rules. What follows is a moral battle between Mrs Kelly’s lifelong beliefs of honesty and integrity and a chance to bend the rules in the name of passion and artistry.
