Jack Bishop (Simon Baker) enjoys a quiet existence with his wife, Amaya (Paz Vega), and daughter, Toby (Chloë Grace Moretz). This contentment is shattered when Toby mysteriously disappears, and Jack decides that he must draw upon the mystical powers of La Santa Muerte if he ever hopes to see her again. As he sets out with Amaya and a group of investigators to track down his daughter, he finds himself venturing deep into the darkness of the supernatural.
