Aparna Brielle

Actress Aparna Brielle first found fame when she played do-gooder student Sarika in Seth Meyers' high-school sitcom "A.P. Bio" (NBC, 2018-). Born in Portland, OR, Brielle first began performing as a professional child dancer but while studying marketing at Linfield College switched her attention to acting. She made her screen debut in short film "Dinner with Wendy" (2011) and a year later played one of the titular urban legends in supernatural drama "Sunshine Girl and the Hunt for Black Eyed Kids" (2012). After appearing in web series "Infinite Issues" (2013), Brielle landed her first leading role when she was cast as a young suicidal girl convinced to live by the thief who breaks into her house in short "Intruder" (2013). She appeared on TV for the first time when she played shoplifter Jenny in a 2014 episode of fairy tale police procedural "Grimm" (NBC, 2011-17) and went on to cameo as a flirty waitress in fantasy adventure "The Librarians" (TNT, 2014-) and in short-lived sitcom "Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life" (Fox, 2016). Brielle bagged her first recurring role when she was cast as career-driven student Sanika in "A.P. Bio" (NBC, 2018-), the sitcom co-created by Seth Meyers about a high school biology teacher who uses his classes to gain revenge on his job-stealing arch-rival.
