Kathryn Walker

Kathryn Walker's acting career took off when she was just eight years old. Known for making audiences laugh, Walker began her acting career in comedies like "Slap Shot" (1977) starring Paul Newman and "Girlfriends" (1978) starring Melanie Mayron. She had a part on the television special "Light's Out" (NBC, 1971-72). She worked in series television while getting her start in acting, including a part on "Another World" (NBC, 1963-1999). Walker won an Outstanding Lead Actress For a Single Performance Primetime Emmy Award for "The Adams Chronicles" in 1976. Her film career continued throughout the seventies and the eighties in productions like "Rich Kids" (1979) with Trini Alvarado, "Neighbors" (1981) and "In Our Hands" (1983). She also appeared in the Mary Beth Hurt adventurous drama "D.A.R.Y.L." (1985). During the latter part of her career, she tackled roles in "Bullseye" (1986), the thriller "Dangerous Game" (1988) with Miles Buchanan and "Emma and Elvis" (1992). She also was featured in the TV movies "Mrs. Delafield Wants to Marry" (CBS, 1985-86) and "Uncle Tom's Cabin" (Showtime, 1986-87). Walker most recently appeared on "The Mormons" (2006-07).
