Morgan Turner

Born in West Chester, PA, Morgan Jeanette Turner was the daughter of actress Sandra Landers. Her first role came as the daughter of former Philadelphia Eagles coach Dick Vermeil (Greg Kinnear) in the uplifting, true-life drama "Invincible" (2006) starring Mark Wahlberg. She was cast in Shaun Cassidy's TV movie "Inseparable" (Fox, 2008), but the project never successfully transitioned to series. Turner next made a small appearance as the singing daughter of her real-life mother in the Jeff Daniels/Lauren Graham comedy "The Answer Man" (2009). Audiences saw another side of her when Turner played an elementary school bully in the Robert Pattinson/Emilie de Ravin drama "Remember Me" (2010). The young actress guested on an episode of the nurse drama "Mercy" (NBC, 2009-2010), but landed her most prominent role then to date as the child version of the hateful Veda, daughter to Kate Winslet's long-suffering mother in Todd Haynes's acclaimed miniseries "Mildred Pierce" (HBO, 2011). Revealing a talent far beyond her years, Turner brought a complexity and charm to the cruel, iron-willed Veda that blended perfectly with the adult version (Evan Rachel Wood).
