Rachel Specter

Rachel Specter was an accomplished actress, noted for her comedic timing in her roles for television shows. Early on in her acting career, Specter spent time on a variety of series with roles in "Gilmore Girls" (2000-07), "Crossing Jordan" (NBC, 2001-07) and "One on One" (UPN, 2001-06). She also appeared in "What I Like About You" (2002-06), "Entourage" (HBO, 2003-2011) and "CSI: New York" (CBS, 2004-2013). In the early 2000s, she worked on the silver screen, taking roles in the comedy "Bald The Movie" (2005) with Jonathan Cherry, the crime feature "Edison" (2005) with Kevin Spacey and "Today You Die" (2005). She also appeared in the crime drama "Lonely Hearts" (2007) with John Travolta and "Extreme Movie" (2008) with Michael Cera. She also worked in television around this time, including a part on "How I Met Your Mother" (CBS, 2005-2014). Specter also appeared in the Brittany Snow suspenseful adaptation "Prom Night" (2008), "The House Bunny" (2008) with Anna Faris and "Deep in the Valley" (2009). She also appeared in the Adam Sandler smash hit comedy "Just Go With It" (2011). She held additional roles in television including a part on "The CollegeHumor Show" (MTV, 2008-09). Most recently, Specter wrote "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" (CW, 2015-).
