In June 1941, Hitler throws himself into a fight to the death against Stalin; in 1917, Joseph Jughashvili is a member of Lenin's Bolshevik Party, who has just seized power in Russia, launching the country into civil war.

After blocking the Germans right outside of Moscow in 1942, Stalin faces Hitler's second assault; like in Leningrad men, women and children are sacrificed at Stalingrad.

Part 3

In 1944, on the road to Berlin, the Soviets discover the horror of Hitler's extermination camps; fifteen years earlier, Stalin transforms his country using every means at his disposal.
