Milly enters service at the South Gate Barracks because she wants to look for her father in the Outlying Area; Cato tries to keep the family together; Alex is pressured to betray her own.

Alex has a recording of her mother, Cato, in which she confesses that she was aware of Pieter's fraud; Milly makes a discovery in the outside world; Hanna gets involved in the resistance.
