Lady Rataxes' famed RhinoceRuby is stolen while she is visiting the Palace. Badou and Rhudi are each determined to find it first but their competitive natures keep allowing the real thief to escape detection. It is only when they merge their investigative skills that they are able to recover the gem. Then, Rhudi doesn't believe that Badou has a Lion for a friend. Badou talks a reluctant Andi into coming to the Palace to prove it. Badou gets so preoccupied with besting Rhudi, he fails to notice how Andi is freaking out by being indoors where he can't see the sky.
