Ben

Ben begins working for Grand Ouest, a major regional daily; during an investigation, she discovers the body of a student before the police, and something about the case brings up parts of her painful childhood.

Ben witnesses the abduction of a young woman; in her efforts to find her, she comes up against a criminal network; her attempt to reconnect with her Jehovah's Witness parents fails.

When gunshots are heard near a nursery in Nantes, Ben rushes to the scene and crosses paths with the killer; the subsequent investigation leads Ben on the trail of her own past and the child she abandoned.

A young footballer is found dead after a lost match; suspicion immediately falls on a group of supporters, particularly a 13-year-old boy; Ben arranges to get in touch with him, but her life becomes chaotic when her son is out of prison.

As Ben's investigation progresses, she's drawn into the dark industry of scouting sports prodigies; she is torn between her son and daughter, each of whom threatens to break ties with her.
