Alice is organising a party to celebrate her grandparents golden wedding anniversary. Feeling particularly tired and hyper-sensitive she goes for a medical check-up. The day before the party, she receives the results of her tests.

With Alice in hospital, Pascal's friend Paul, a real estate agent, offers him a deal, to convince Louis, Alice's uncle to sell the family farm for a shopping centre project, in exchange for a building site.

Marthe is distraught by the illness of her granddaughter Alice, wanting to watch over her and take care of everything. Marthe is filled with remorse when Alice talks about her father, whom she never knew. As the past resurfaces, so do its secrets.

Economically, life on the farm is increasingly difficult. Adèle pushes Louis to sell the family land, but he feels guilty about letting down his family who have worked the farm for generations.

Although she had never really looked after Alice, Jeanne finally has the opportunity to get closer to her and reclaim her role as a mother. However, Alice finds it difficult to forgive her.

Mathieu is worried about his mother. When he finds out that Jeanne is in search of Alice's father for a possible transplant, he is determined to help her to find him.
