In 1186 England, a Saxon forester, Hugh of Locksley, struggles under Norman rule. His son Rob, gifted with the longbow, grows up haunted by the loss of his father’s ancestral home, which is now occupied by a Norman Lord: Earl Huntingdon. In Westminster, Marian begins to find her footing in Eleanor’s treacherous court, where the Queen sees in her a quiet intelligence and political mind Marian hasn’t recognized. While Marian is torn between a bright future and her love for Rob, Rob and new ally Friar Tuck hatch an ingenious plan to strike a blow against the Sheriff- steal the very gold meant to pay for his capture. The heist demands precision and nerve, pushing the young band to the limit. Success could fund their cause—failure means death.

As word of the Millers’ death sentence reaches Rob, he mounts a dangerous rescue at Nottingham itself.
