School Rumble

Tenma Tsukamoto hopes to be in the same classes as her crush Oji Karasuma; delinquent Kenji Harima finds out that he has been held back a grade; Tenma and Harima decide to confess their feelings in love letters; bicycling to school.

Harima tries to save Tenma from failing her English test; Tenma does not want Karasuma to see her leaving the girl's room; Tenma disguises herself as a nurse to find out Karasuma's personal information.

It's the third episode and you know what that means… Time for a bank robbery! Seriously?!? Almost… But first, Art Class brightens things up a bit as the students pair off to sketch each other's portraits. And of course, Tenma ends up with Karasuma… Like, duh! Perhaps inspired – perhaps desperate and just a tad unbalanced – the luckless lass decides to play cupid, winging words of love on arrows swift and sure… Wait a second, are those real arrows? Poor guy, never had a chance… Well that didn't work, so Tenma's turning to the ladies for some sisterly advice. But does anyone have a clue why Harima's in a dress?!?

On a school field trip, Tenma fusses over a bus seat next to her crush, and Harima's efforts to score a good spot put him in a stink; Tenma's little sis turns out to be a mind-reader, and costume confusion on a rainy day leaves Tenma feeling damp.

Harima tells his cousin about he first met and fell in love with Tenma; Hanai hopes to get into the Tea Club with Yakumo but must pass the tea-tasting test; Tenma's homeroom class decides to play softball.

Tenma has to rough it when she locks herself in a storage room at school; Harima feels the pain when his attempt to confess his love to Tenma comes to a crashing halt.
