When the brutal murder of an architecture student takes place in Silesia, the perpetrator's approach is deceptively reminiscent of the crimes of Norman Pionek, a serial killer called the "Vampire of Szombierki" who is currently serving a prison sentence. Although everything points to an imitator, their leads do not give the police team, led by Commissioner Kocur, clear answers. In pursuit of the story Bastian Strzygoń is unexpectedly drawn in to the investigation, also involving Anka Serafin. The more they delve into it, the more questions arise, and the line between truth and lies begins to blur. To discover who is behind the crime, they will have to face dark secrets that have remained hidden for years.
