The Gryphon

Mark receives a life-altering birthday present that will compel him to inherit the mantle of a generations-long battle against the Gryphon of the Black Tower.

Mark wanders around looking for his brother Thomas in the Gryphon's treacherous world. Oblivious to the truth, their mother fears the worst and approaches the police for help.

The slave hunters catch a whiff of Mark's presence and start chasing him. Back in the human world, Becky does not realize that she is playing with fire.

Mark must evade the psychiatric ward nurses and set the wheels in motion to rescue Thomas. Meanwhile, a brush with death opens Becky's eyes to the truth.

Mark's mother dismisses Becky's claims about the Zimmerman bloodline's ill-fated connection with Marten's church. Back in the Black Tower, the Gryphon draws energy from Mark's anger.

Heading into his deadliest fight against the Black Tower monsters, Mark is about to come face-to-face with the Gryphon for the first time.
