Successful doctor Agustin (Mortensen) has grown increasingly tired of his perfectly ordered existence. After the death of his identical twin brother, Pedro, Agustin seizes the opportunity to assume Pedro’s identity and return to their childhood home by the river. But what he finds is not a new start, but a reawakening to a dangerous criminal underworld. Thrown into a dark world of kidnap, corruption and torture, Agustin eventually finds himself the prime suspect in a murder case.
