Trouble
A big-hearted comedy about siblings who will go to any measure to regain their father’s property. Maggie (Anjelica Huston – 'The Royal Tenenbaums') and Ben (Bill Pullman - 'Independence Day') are middle-aged siblings who don't care for one another. Although Ben, a perpetual screw up, sold his share of their father's estate to his sister years ago, he returns to the family plot hoping to build a house and a new future. The only problem is Maggie won’t be letting go of her property without a fight. With help from a new acquaintance (Julia Stiles – '10 Things I Hate About You') and good friend Gerry (David Morse – 'The Green Mile') Ben hashes out a plan to regain the property. Maggie must decide how to react as sibling rivalries renew. Trouble marks the second feature film for Pulitzer Prize-nominated playwright and novelist Theresa Rebeck ('Mauritius', 'Seminar'); and also serves as a reunion for Huston and Brian d'Arcy James, who both appeared on the Rebeck-created NBC cult TV musical 'Smash'.
