Zack tries to negotiate a better contract for Carey, but almost succeeds in losing her job for her. Nia and London both ask Cody to help with their science projects.

Cody gets the job as editor of the school newspaper and appoints Zack as agony aunt. He proves very popular until he abuses his role by advising a girl he likes to go out with him.
