It’s a white apron day in the MasterChef kitchen, and today, the winner of Round 1 will cook against a professional chef in Round 2 for the chance to win an immunity pin.

At the end of today, one of the two chefs will have won $250,000 and earnt the title of MasterChef Australia 2023.

From today’s challenge, the contestants learn that today’s challenge will span two rounds, the first of which is a taste test, with a twist.
