Fraker is on trial for the attempted murder of Rodriguez. Haywood is for the prosecution and Sipowicz's old friend James Sinclair represents Fraker.

In a store shooting, late at night, three staff members are killed and one is injured. The only other witness is Dwight, described as a `dumpster diver', who saw two black guys leaving the premises.

New squad member, Danny Sorenson, arrives and gets sent to a drive-by shooting, with Sipowicz. The rest of the squad, including Russell on her first day back at work, attend another shooting.

Andy and Theo discuss their upcoming trip to Disney World. At the scene of the case, the detectives follow up on a report that a cab was seen leaving the scene.
