Fukuyadou Honpo - Kyoto Love Story

Arare's mother orders her to marry her sister's fiance, Kenji, and take over the family's sweet shop. Arare refuses to do as her mother says and runs away from home.

Hinoyama visits Arare's workplace to tell her that he will marry her sister without dating. Hina receives a proposal from her first love, kabuki actor Shojuro.

Arare is shocked to hear that Kenji loved her. Unsure of his thoughts, Arare visits Fukuyadou, and she ends up venting her anger at Hina.

Arare asks Kenji about his true feelings. When Komako is hospitalised, the family must temporarily close down Fukuyadou Honpo. Arare then visits her mother in the hospital but ends up in a fight about taking over the business.

Arare begins training as the successor but has trouble dressing in a kimono and cooking. Kenji asks Hina to make a staff cookbook for Arare and Komako decides to test Iori's tea skills.

Arare is depressed because Kenji scolds her. Hina gives Hinoyama the handkerchief she received from Shijaku, but he rejects it. Meanwhile, Iori asks Hana on a date.
