Miwa Kandagawa hides her identity and joins Toyo Production. But to be officially hired, she must ensure the big-name actor Yoshihiko Gomi successfully completes a commercial shoot.

Ordered by Saigawa to find new talent, Miwa scouts aspiring actress Saki. But Saki's small voice and inability to greet people makes her unpopular with the other talents.

A talent hints at an agency transfer on social media and Miwa is ordered to find out who it is. She suspects Yuji Sanada, who clashes with his manager, but the agency and Miwa's job are doomed if he leaves.

Miwa is given a new mission to poach a famous child actor from another agency. He turns out to be a troublemaker, but Miwa suspects there is more to it. Yuji approaches Miwa, expressing an interest in her past.

Though Santa and his partner Mizoguchi gained some attention as high school comedians, they are now virtually inactive. Miwa is tasked with the mission to disband the comedy duo, but she is moved by their bond and pushes them to make a comeback.

Yuji's confession flusters Miwa. Masae makes an unnecessary comment over the radio, sparking a hate campaign against her on social media. Saigawa orders Miwa to boost publicity by fanning the flames further.
