Haruto Narusawa, the president of Harukana Online Games, receives a phone call that completely changes his life. The caller says he has abducted his daughter Tomoka and demands a ransom to the tune of 500 million yen.

Haruto Narusawa and his wife Michiru announce their daughter's abduction online. However, her kidnapper has other ideas, offering them a dangerous ultimatum that could ruin their whole family.

Together with college friends Miwa and Todo, Haruto and Michiru shut down police involvement. To make the ransom exchange a success, the couple concocts a plan and relays it to the kidnapper.

Haruto and Michiru save their daughter from the hands of the kidnapper, and while they hope to return to a peaceful life, Haruto cannot shake Katsuragi's warning that one day he will regret letting the kidnapper go free.

Haruto, Todo and Miwa work together to rescue Miwa's daughter. Again, the kidnapper demands to negotiate without police intervention. The friends transport 500 million yen by car, but they are endangered by Michiru.

The kidnapper targets Misaki, the daughter of Akutsu and Eri, using Haruto to negotiate terms with Akutsu and his wife. Katsuragi is removed from the investigation.
