In 2094 Los Angeles, Maron, a man with a penchant for jam bands and of no small moral ambiguity, is one of the last humans on Earth. Living with nine teenage robots in an isolated house, whom he educates, hangs with, and sells, Maron must choose between joining his fellow humans at a colony across the stars or remaining on Earth with his adopted family, a final bastion of humanity.
