Rowan Blanchard

A charismatic tween star, Rowan Blanchard impressed as both an actress and a singer. Born in Los Angeles, Rowan Blanchard made her screen debut at the age of nine on the children's series "Dance-A-Lot Robot" (The Disney Channel, 2010), where real-life kids boogied down with the titular animated automaton. After a small role in the Jennifer Lopez comedy "The Back-up Plan" (2010), the young actress scored a role in the Heather Graham/Rob Corddry Little League pilot "Little in Common" (Fox, 2011), which never made it to series. Although she still found time to occasionally film YouTube videos of herself singing popular songs, Blanchard essayed one of the new generation of pint-sized action heroes in Robert Rodriguez's "Spy Kids: All the Time in the World in 4-D" (2011). She made national headlines, however, for landing the highly coveted role of Riley, daughter to Topanga (Danielle Fishel) and Cory (Ben Savage) on "Girl Meets World" (Disney Channel, 2013-17), the sequel series to the fondly remembered 1990s kids-friendly staple "Boy Meets World" (ABC, 1993-2000). As Fishel, Savage and series creator Michael Jacobs released statements attesting to Blanchard's charm and potential, the young actress saw her Hollywood profile receive an enormous boost.
