Syl Lamont

Actor Syl Lamont was known for his roles on the silver screen. Lamont started off his career in film with roles in the adventure "The Buccaneer" (1958) with Yul Brynner, "Pork Chop Hill" (1959) with Gregory Peck and the action picture "Taras Bulba" (1962) with Bill F Calvert. He went on to act in the Tony Curtis dramatic comedy "40 Pounds of Trouble" (1963), the dramatic adaptation "Captain Newman, M.D." (1963) with Gregory Peck and "Lost Command" (1966) with Anthony Quinn. He also appeared in "Companions in Nightmare" (NBC, 1968-69). Later in his career, Lamont acted in the Clint Eastwood crime flick "Coogan's Bluff" (1968). Lamont passed away in August 1982 at the age of 70.
