Rodney Rowland

The tall, dark-haired former model Rowland appeared in a number of NY stage productions including "Fuel" and "Waltzing in Wonder." He made his film debut in a small role in "Under the Boardwalk" (1988) and also appeared in Bruce Weber's documentary on jazz legend Chet Baker, "Let's Get Lost" (1989). Rowland made his TV debut in the docudrama "If Someone Had Known" and also played a young prisoner whose brutal murder sets the plot in motion in the Showtime movie "Block Party" (both 1995). On the sci-fi series "Space: Above and Beyond" (Fox, 1995-96) Rowland played an "In Vitro"--a member of an artificially bred race who is subject to a lifetime of prejudice. The actor followed up with a regular role on the syndicated series "Pensacola: Wings of Gold" (1997-1998). With a handful of TV-movie credits including "Hearts Adrift" (USA Network, 1996) and "A Crime of Passion" (CBS, 1999), Rowland appeared in the feature romantic comedy "Just Looking" (1996) and the Arnold Schwarzenegger actioner "The 6th Day" (2000).
