Sharif Atkins

Actor Sharif Atkins was most commonly known for his roles in television dramas. He began acting in locally-produced films and TV programs. He moved to Los Angeles. At the beginning of his acting career, Atkins appeared in various dramas like "ER" (NBC, 1994-2009), "Early Edition" (CBS, 1996-2000) and "Turks" (CBS, 1998-99). He also appeared in "That's Life" (CBS, 1998-2002) and "The District" (CBS, 2000-04). In the beginning of his Hollywood career, Atkins acted in films like the Usher action movie "Light It Up" (1999). He continued to work steadily in television throughout the early 2000s, appearing on "Eve" (2003-06), "Hawaii" (NBC, 2004) and "The 4400" (USA, 2004-07). He also appeared in "Criminal Minds" (CBS, 2005-). More recently, he tackled roles on "Numb3rs" (2005-2010), "In Justice" (ABC, 2006) and "Sleepy Hollow" (Fox, 2013-17). He also appeared in the Chris Pratt blockbuster action flick "Guardians of the Galaxy" (2014). Atkins most recently acted on "Lucifer" (Fox, 2016-).
