Amy Spanger

As an actress and musician, Amy Spanger made a career for herself by appearing in TV shows and performing on stage. Early on in her acting career, Spanger spent time on a variety of series with roles in "Becker" (1998-2005), "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-) and "Ed" (NBC, 2000-04). She continued to work steadily in television throughout the early 2000s, appearing on "Six Feet Under" (2001-05), "Bored to Death" (HBO, 2009-2011) and "Michael and Michael Have Issues" (Comedy Central, 2009). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Reefer Madness" (Showtime, 2005). Her career progressed to film, including a role in the dramatic comedy "Synecdoche, New York" (2008) with Philip Seymour Hoffman. Spanger most recently acted on "Royal Pains" (USA, 2009-2016). Spanger was married to Michael C. Hall.
