Antonio Catania

Italian actor Antonio Catania is a well-known figure in his native country having appeared in dozens of films and TV shows. He frequently appears in films by director Gabriele Salvatores, the first of which was the comedy "Kamikazen ultima notte a Milano" in 1987. He then had supporting roles in Salvatores's 1991 Oscar-winning hit "Mediterraneo" and his sci-fi thriller "Nirvana" in 1997. A year later he co-starred with Fanny Ardant in Ettore Scola's 1998 comedic drama "The Dinner" before his co-starring role in the huge international smash "Bread an Tulips." Catania worked increasingly on TV in the 2000s taking on several recurring roles, including in the comedy "Boris."
