Don Fanelli

Comedian Don Fanelli first began showcasing his talents on the New York improv circuit before moving onto the screen with roles in horror film "Sanatorium" (2014), sitcom "Nightcap" (Pop, 2016-) and numerous web series. Born in New Jersey, Fanelli studied Engineering at Lehigh University but a year after graduating underwent a complete career change to follow his dreams of becoming an improv comedian. Fanelli subsequently attended classes at the William Esper Studio and UCB Theater in New York, becoming a regular performer at the latter with well-received shows such as "Sketches from an Italian Restaurant: A Billy Joel Sketch Show" and "Mr. Jersey's Neighborhood." In 2011 he became a regular panelist on cult hit "The Chris Gethard Show" (MNN, 2011-) and a year later made his network TV debut playing a cop in an episode of "30 Rock" (NBC, 2006-2013). Fanelli then landed the horror film roles of paranormal researcher Mark in found footage indie "Sanatorium" (2013) and Dex in the low-budget "Fear Town, USA" (2014) and made the first of several guest appearances in sketch show "Inside Amy Schumer" (Comedy Central, 2013-). Having appeared in its original web series incarnation, Fanelli then also showed up the TV version of "Broad City" (Comedy Central, 2014-), portrayed go-to Native American actor Iron Eyes Cody in educational comedy "Adam Ruins Everything" (truTV, 2015-) and guested with his wife, Laura Willcox, in Lauren Lapkus' instalment of "The Characters" (Netflix, 2016-). Fanelli bagged his first major recurring role when he was cast as late night talk show host Jimmy's irritating childhood best friend Todd on showbiz sitcom "Nightcap" (Pop, 2016), and a year later played Officer Matarazzo in the feature-length comedy mystery "Most Likely to Murder" (2017).
