Gigi Proietti
Luigi "Gigi" Proietti is a prolific comic actor in the commedia all'italiana style, or "comedy the Italian way." Most often associated with his role as the hysterical Bruno Fioretti in director Steno's 1976 comedy "Horse Fever," Proietti kept himself busy throughout the '70s in comedic roles of all shapes and sizes. He tried his hand at several international productions as well, co-starring in Sidney Lumet's drama "The Appointment" and Robert Altman's ensemble comedy "A Wedding." In addition to his on-screen work, he finds time to perform voice-over work for the Italian version of "The Simpsons," as well as dubbing work for the likes of Robert De Niro.
