Marie Pillet

Marie Pillet was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Pillet's career in acting began with her roles in various films like the Yves Montand action flick "La Menace" (1977), the comedy "L' Amant de poche" (1978) with Mimsy Farmer and the Alain Cohen romance "La Premiere Fois" (1978). She also appeared in the Miou-Miou action picture "La Derobade" (1979) and "Tandem" (1987) with Gérard Jugnot. She continued to work steadily in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, appearing in "Dandin" (1988) with Claude Brasseur, "May Wine" (1990) with Joanna Cassidy and the musical comedy "Golden Eighties" (1992) with Fanny Cottencon. She also appeared in "Les Grands Ducs" (1996) and the dramatic period piece "Ridicule" (1996) with Charles Berling. In her more recent career, she continued to act in the Regis Royer dramatic biopic "Lautrec" (1998), the Carole Bouquet dramatic adaptation "Lucie Aubrac" (1999) and the Ethan Hawke drama sequel "Before Sunset" (2004). She also appeared in the romantic comedy "2 Days in Paris" (2007) with Julie Delpy and "My Best Friend" (2007). Pillet most recently worked on the Nicholas Hoult comedic adaptation "Warm Bodies" (2013).
