Steve Boyum

Steve Boyum is a highly accomplished stunt performer, appearing in more than 60 different projects since 1975 and earning three World Stunt Award nominations for his work in Francis Ford Coppola's Vietnam War epic, "Apocalypse Now" (Best Fire Stunt, Best Water Work, and Best Work With a Vehicle). His acting resume is limited to just over a dozen titles, and he split his time between stunt work and small acting roles in film and television until the mid '90s. During this stretch, Boyum also built up a good deal of experience as a second unit director on nearly 20 TV movies and feature films, including the 1993 comedy "Groundhog Day," in which Bill Murray relives the same day over and over. Boyum's hard work paid off, and he began getting work as a director in the late '90s, slowly working his way up to recurring gigs on major network series like FOX's action drama "Human Target."
