When cyber activists Anna and Benni publish material against the Minister of Transport, a hacker attack is carried out on the ministry via their exploit. While Benni just manages to escape the BKA, Anna is arrested.

While Benni becomes further radicalized as a member of the terrorost group called "The Last Resistance", Anna is convinced by her godfather, BKA officer Christoph Wandler, to fend off a ruthless hacker attack for the police.

Anna identifies "Rainman" as the person who could be behind "The Last Resistance". Together with BKA, IT expert Stella, she sets out on Rainman's trail, while Benni uncovers a family secret that makes her feel betrayed.

Benni plans several attacks on climate sinners with "The Last Resistance", while Anna helps the BKA arrest Adam. A photo on his cell phone proves Benni's involvement and Anna decides to protect her sister.

While Anna and Benni struggle in vain to regain their old familiarity at a meeting, Benni and Susi are finally exposed as members of "The Last Resistance". The BKA is closing in on them and tries to get them arrested.

Anna and Christoph believe they have the advantage over Benni and Susi thanks to a laptop tracker and do everything they can to prevent the planned attack on the transport minister at the last second.
