Back in high school, Mu-chul, Dae-sik and Gyu-tae swore eternal friendship as Cheonha Trio; fast forward 42 years, Mu-chul is a rich but stingy real estate investor while Gyu-tae and Dae-sik run their own businesses in one of Mu-chul's buildings.

Dae-sik and Hye-sook are upset that Mu-chul let another fried chicken joint open in the building; Mu-chul suddenly announces that he wants to raise the rent and the security deposit; the stock Tae-ha owns suddenly starts to drop.

Dae-sik feels hopeless and desperate on the brink of bankruptcy; Gyu-tae relates to Dae-sik's frustrations; Mi-ja sees a text message from a woman named Jang-mi on Mu-chul's phone and decides to try dialing the number to find out what's going on.

Hye-sook's daughter, Mi-jin, finds out about the security deposit increase and wants to ask her husband, Gwang-sik, if he can take out a loan through his new job; after a night out, a drunk Mu-chul calls Dae-sik to ask for a ride home.

Unable to meet Mu-chul's request for the security deposit increase, Dae-sik decides to close his restaurant in Daewoon Building and move out of Mu-chul's building; Mu-chul suddenly can't reach Mr. Jang after investing money in his project.

Seok-jin tells the family that he was able to start Farm to Market thanks to the generous investment from Tae-hyung's father; Tae-ha borrows a crypto-mining machine from his friend to present his business plan to his father, Mu-chul.
