Lee, a spirited equestrian girl, has no idea what she wants to pursue after graduation. Jordan, Casey's best friend and an aspiring college football player, offers to help Lee do chores on the farm. Jordan happens to be African-American and comes from the other side of the tracks. When their friendship blossoms into a fine romance, Lee is abruptly educated on how unwilling her community is to accept an interracial couple within their midst.
