Jon Abrahams

The boyish-looking actor Jon Abrahams got his start in Larry Clark's risqué "Kids," as one of a clique of New York City adolescents who skateboarded, had sex, and risked contracting AIDS. He went on to play a supporting role in "Masterminds," a hostage movie set at a school--something that the characters in his debut rarely attended--and continued to get "schooled" in Robert Rodriguez's evil-teacher thriller, "The Faculty," as well as in multiple episodes of "Boston Public," David E. Kelley's FOX series set in a Massachusetts secondary school. Abrahams has often tried his hand at horror, not only in "The Faculty," but also in the campus-set "They," the 2005 remake of "House of Wax"--featuring Paris Hilton, whose star was then waxing--and the horror-film spoof "Scary Movie." When not giving people the willies, the actor has taken on roles in romantic dramas like "Not Since You," appearing with his "Scary Movie" costar Kathleen Robertson. He also played Robert De Niro's kinsman in the big-hit comedy "Meet the Parents," and was honored with a festival award for his leading turn in the fortune-cookie-themed short "What Are the Odds."
