Kirk Jones

After cutting his teeth directing commercials, Kirk Jones wrote and directed "Waking Ned Devine," a 1998 comedy about the inhabitants of a small Irish village who conspire to claim a dead man's lottery winnings. The movie was released to critical acclaim, and Jones followed it up with "Nanny McPhee," based on a popular series of books. His next two projects were the 2009 drama "Everybody's Fine" starring Robert De Niro, which Jones also wrote, and the 2012 romantic comedy "What to Expect When You're Expecting," an ensemble film that revolves around a quintet of couples going through the different stages of having a child.
