Reach for the Sky!

s. 2, ép. 107: Stretch is a crane and his job is to lift things onto the top of very high buildings. He’s attached to a truck so he can drive to jobs, but he’s so tall that he has to be taken apart in order to fit through the streets. It takes a friend, Yellow Crane, to help Stretch assemble again! The two cranes work together and it’s not long before Stretch is taller than a thirty-storey building and ready to work. He picks up a huge air-conditioner off the ground and raises it up, up, up to the roof of the high-rise. Now that is a big lift! Cranes are not the ones who can lift heavy objects to the top of high buildings. Meet Gipsy Lady, a helicopter who specializes in difficult lifting jobs. Have you ever seen a crane that’s also a helicopter? Gipsy is a spectacular “air-crane,” with a jet engine and huge rotor blades! Watch while she lifts very heavy objects one after another to the roof of a factory.
