13 Assassins

The notorious Mayer of Akashi, Naritsugu Matsudaira, is elected to be the post-Rozyu. The present Rozyu, Doi, orders Shinzaemon to assassinate Naritsugu. Thirteen assassins including him gather and prepare to assault Naritsugu on their way from Edo to Akashi.
