One day, a fortune teller tells Tony (Govinda) that a blue-eyed princess from overseas will enter his life. Sonia (Aishwarya Rai) could be that blue-eyed princess as she travels to Malaga in search of her mother’s grave. She hires Tony to guide her around. The easy-going Tony falls in love with her and she gets very fond of him. Unknowingly, Tony's childhood friend Neena (Namrata Shirodkar) has a thing for Tony and she does not take kindly to him spending all his time with Sonia. Prem Arya (Jackie Shroff) is an Indian journalist who met Sonia in Austria while he was interviewing her father. They fell in love and hoped to get married but Sonia’s father forbid them as Prem was of Indian origin. This ensues romantic drama with emotional twists and turns, while love can be very confusing for some people.
