As They Made Us
The film follows Abigail, a divorced mother of two, who is dealing with several difficult family dynamics, including taking care of her ailing father (Dustin Hoffman) and her mother’s (Candice Bergen) strange behaviour. Through flashbacks we learn more about Abigail’s childhood and the complicated relationship she had with her parents. Living with a painful past and a stressful present, Abigail finds out if she can forgive and find new love.
