Day X

After the accidental death of her husband, Tanja is constantly pushed to her limits as a single working mother of a 13-year-old daughter. Lilly is going through puberty and has never really come to terms with the loss of her father. One evening, Tanja notices a strange staring person across the street through her kitchen window. When anonymous calls with eerie breathing noises keep coming in on the landline and the stranger stands in front of the apartment one more time, Tanja feels stalked and calls in her brash friend Franzi. Franzi urges Tanja to call the police. After Tanja finally files a complaint against unknown persons, she hardly feels better about her situation. Overprotective, she wants to control Lilly on all her steps and only drives her to a friend's house under certain conditions. When Tanja returns to her car from shopping, she still feels like she is being watched. She should be right, because on her rearview mirror dangles a chain with an A- pendant, which was definitely not hanging there before. Now it's clear, someone was in her car. Panic-stricken, she tries to reach Lilly to pick her up from her friend. In vain. Lilly has already disappeared without a trace that day. Only when Inspector Schwarz takes on the case does it become clear that there was already a missing girl named Anna five years ago. And the necklace hanging in the car once belonged to her.
