Dear Heart

Academy Award winner Geraldine Page stars with Gerald Ford in the sweet, slightly-off-center romance between a lonely, middle-aged postmistress and a salesman who's just become engaged to another woman in Dear Heart. Postmistress Evie Jackson (Page), in New York City for the annual postmasters' convention, knows it would destroy her to ever admit how lonely she is--even to herself. Greeting card salesmen, newly promoted to marketing and newly engaged to a widow with a teenaged son, Harry Mork (Ford), wants a family. He also wants Evie. Now, nothing will return to normal until Harry Mork decides whether to settle for love or family.
