Life among the bodybuilding cultists in Southern California has neverbeen simple. But when Carlo Cofield arrives,it becomes more complicated than ever in the muscular comedy Don't Make Waves.Carlo(Tony Curtis)arrives as a tourist and then stays on,working as a swimming poolsalesman. He becomes involved with Laura (Claudia Cardinale),a would-beactress whose Hollywood career was nipped in the bud;Rod (RobertWebber),a two-timing husband who hoodwinks his wife,Diane (JoannaBarnes),regarding his relationship with Laura;and Harry Hollard (DavidDraper),better known as Mr.Universe.
