Sweet Bird of Youth

Paul Newman stars as the handsome, ambitious and ruthless young gigolo who pays a visit to his small hometown in the company of an aging film star in this film version of Tennessee Williams' play. In his quest to become a movie star, Chance Wayne (Newman) will use anyone--the girlfriend he left behind and the actress who pays for the affection of a handsome young man. But when Chance comes home, his good looks may not protect him from the wrath of the people he has hurt.
